  • Rest for the remainder of the day and avoid strenuous exercise for a few hours or as advised.
  • Drink water and have a light meal.
  • Keep cupping sites clean and dry, and do not scratch or pick at them.
  • Wear loose clothing that will not rub the area.
  • Redness and light bruising are common and usually fade within days.

Contact your practitioner or a doctor if

You notice spreading redness, increasing pain, pus, fever, bleeding that does not stop, dizziness or fainting.
